TO STAND OUT FROM COMPETITORS encroaching on its territory, the brand’s request for a new look evolves into a fun and vibrant environment that’s both distinctive and contemporary. The complete redesign includes floor plans, department layouts, exterior and interior signing, overall decor, finishes, merchandising, and fixtures. Distinguishing each area with differing colors, whimsical graphics, and witty language adds a bright, welcoming vibe. Visual metaphors also reinforce the brand’s local roots. An easy, navigable layout with lower gondolas allows for expansive sightlines.
Design draws in customers by accentuating the fresh department, then entices them to visit added-value services such as whole food replacements, the cafe, and pharmacy. Other features include cross-merchandising displays to create more excitement in the store’s center.
